The children had the oportunity to create their own painting with a technique full of movement and playfulness!

The giant  colourfull and fragrant dough was amazing for the kids that they couldn't resit touching it smelling it and experimenting with it! 

Contemporary brooches with recycled materials!




Many other events took place on Lembessi Street (near the new Museum of Acropolis) last Saturday and Sunday, 
we had a wonderful time and we look forward to repeating it next year!

An amazing experience!

"Η αποκωδικοποίηση του μυστικού της ικανοποίησης εκείνης της στιγμής"


Υπάρχουν κάποιες εκθέσεις που σε καθηλώνουν και αξίζουν κάθε αναμονή...
Για μένα αυτή η έκθεση ξετυλίχτηκε μπροστά μου τον Ιούνιο του 2011!

Alexander McQueen!


Μια αρκετά μεγάλη και ολοκληρωμένη έκθεση που οι λέξεις φαντάζουν ανάπηρες
για να μεταφέρουν την εμπειρία.
Η ανάγκη μου να το αναβιώσω και να το μοιραστώ μαζί σας με φέρνει αντιμέτωπη
με τη σύνταξη αυτού του μικρού κειμένου.
Ατμόσφαιρα, χρώματα, φράσεις, στήσιμο, ήχοι ήταν καθοριστικά για να βυθιστώ
στο μυαλό, που μου ενέπνευσε τρόμο, δέος, πρόκληση, προβληματισμό,
ρομαντισμο, ικανοποίηση, ερωτισμό, μαγεία, υπερβολή, αρμονία.

Lee Alexander McQueen, (17 March 1969 – 11 February 2010) was a British fashion designer and couturier best known for his in-depth knowledge of bespoke British tailoring, his tendency to juxtapose strength with fragility in his collections, as well as the emotional power and raw energy of his provocative fashion shows.

McQueen's death was announced on the afternoon of 11 February 2010. He was found that morning by his housekeeper at his home on Green Street, London W1, hanged. Paramedics were called and they pronounced him dead at the scene.

McQueen died days before London Fashion Week, though he was not scheduled to show, and nine days after the death of his mother, Joyce, 75, from cancer.David LaChapelle, a friend of the designer said that McQueen "was doing a lot of drugs and was very unhappy" at the time of his death.

Η νύχτα

Η νύχτα ξέρει και φοβάται,
μας αγαπάει και μας λυπάται,
μαζί μας πίνει και ξενυχτάει
και το πρωί για ύπνο πάει...

Η νύχτα θέλει να αγαπιέται
και από έρωτα χτυπιέται,
καπνίζει, βρίζει και διαβάζει,
κλαίει σαν παιδί και αναστενάζει...

Η νύχτα παίζει και κιθάρα
και μένει πάντα από τσιγάρα,
γράφει τραγούδια και ζηλεύει,
γυρνάει στους δρόμους κι αλητεύει...

Η νύχτα ντύνεται γυναίκα
και ξεκινάει κατά τις δέκα,
τους άλλους βάζει να τα σπάνε
και τα πληρώνει όσα κερνάνε...

Η νύχτα κάνει απιστίες
και παίρνει μέρος σε ληστείες,
βάζει μια βόμβα στη Κυψέλη
κι ύστερα λέει ό,τι θέλει...

Η νύχτα, ό,τι και να γίνει,

Μια απλή μέρα

Λευκή καταιγίδα Στίχοι: Παύλος Παυλίδης Μουσική: Παύλος Παυλίδης Πρώτη εκτέλεση: Παύλος Παυλίδης Την πρώτη φορά ήταν σαν να'χε αρπάξει φωτιά κάπου μέσα βαθιά κάτι μες την ψυχή μου. Κοιτούσα τις φλόγες κι αυτόν τον αέρα μακριά να αλλάζει αργά τις σκιές της ερήμου. Χορεύοντας μου 'δείξες μέσα σε πέντε λεπτά τι θα πει πουθενά και πως χάνεται ο χρόνος. Ότι αν το πιστέψεις στα αλήθεια η αγάπη μπορεί. Ότι αν αφεθείς σ'οδηγάει ο δρόμος. Από τότε περάσανε χρόνια κυλήσαν νερά όμως κάπου βαθιά η φωτιά καίει ακόμη. Λυπάμαι που έφυγα εκείνη τη νύχτα κρυφά, βιαστικά και χωρίς να ζητήσω συγνώμη. Το μόνο που θα'θελα αν κάποτε σε ξαναδώ είναι να πω ευχαριστώ για το θαύμα που είδα και να δώσω για μια τελευταία φορά το ρυθμό στον τρελό σου χορό στην λευκή καταιγίδα.

I have a dream ...
to swim with a dolphin.. perhaps i was infuenced by the movie "Free Willy" who knows... :)

Jason James Richter made a big splash sharing the screen with a Killer Whale in
"Free Willy" back in 1993 -- Guess what he looks like now!

ok that was something extra... ;)

so...

I was trying to call the dolphins by making movements with my hands!
In the end they finally came!

the big discovery!!!

Pink dolphin appears in US lake

The world's only pink Bottlenose dolphin which was discovered in an inland lake in Louisiana, USA!

"It is a truly beautiful dolphin but people should be careful, as with any dolphins, to respect it - observe from a distance, limit their time watching, don't chase or harass it

"While this animal looks pink, it is an albino which you can notice in the pink eyes.

"Albinism is a genetic trait and it unclear as to the type of albinism this animal inherited."
